UNC Student Store
This was a fast-track project with a significant amount of work to be completed in a short time frame. The project team worked shifts of 12-hour days, seven days a week, to meet the aggressive schedule. Immediately following the conclusion of the 2016-2017 academic year at UNC, interior demolition began. The program was reconfigured, and a small food mart was added. Additionally, the Student Store provides textbook ordering and pick-up services, mailing, printing, and shopping for UNC apparel. A sit-in Starbucks, lounge/study area, bookstore, and pharmacy are also located inside. PME systems were updated, and all new contemporary finishes were installed. This project was completed prior to the commencement of the 2017-2018 academic year, as scheduled.
