James R. Clayton, III

As Vice President and company safety officer, Jim Clayton is responsible for safety training and compliance, along with recruitment and training of company personnel. Jim Clayton is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, N.C. He joined C. T. Wilson in 1977.
During his tenure Jim has managed numerous construction projects throughout North Carolina. He has successfully completed several fast-track pharmaceutical and industrial projects for local clients and developed a superintendent and crew specializing in this type of work.
Jim's other activities include member and Past President of the local General Contractors Association, and other contractor-related clubs and organizations.
