CT Wilson Construction was subcontracted to perform shell construction of a new, 10,000 sf facility for the Kittrell Job Corps Center. The single-story building with partial mezzanine houses the facility maintenance department and classroom space for related vocational training. Masonry walls with exposed interior CMU and light gauge metal joists comprise the structure. The slab on grade was left exposed in the warehouse spaces with minimal VCT and epoxy finishes elsewhere. Minot & PSBI Joint Venture, LLC, the General Contractor out of Tallahassee, Florida, was the contractor for the design-build team on this Federal project.
