Plumbing Contractor:Acme Plumbing & Heating HVAC Contractor: Lee Air Conditioning Electrical Contractor: Foushee Electric Description:The GSA U.S. Bankruptcy Court project scope included building shell items and the Courts upfit in the historic Venable Warehouse in downtown Durham. New common corridors, gang restrooms, and a glass elevator were constructed as part of the shell scope. The upfit included office space, large meeting rooms and a courtroom with updated technology and a top of the line A/V system. Cherry casework and doors were installed throughout the courtroom and Judge’s chambers. Many of the ceilings and exterior brick walls were left exposed showing the sandblasted rustic timber framing and brick. Floor finishes included VCT, carpet, and engineered hardwood. Acoustical ceilings were installed in some of the office areas and wall finishes included paint & vinyl wall coverings. |
