Description:

Demolition of existing bank facility and construction of new 3 bay EMS station for Durham County. Construction consisted of slab on grade, exposed glue laminated beams with exposed roof decking, brick walls and curtain wall. The building layout was a radius plan with extensive curtain wall utilizing natural lighting for large areas. Building is one story approximately 6,000 SF. Interior contains large common area, bedrooms, offices and bathrooms to support three ambulances. The HVAC system has two gas fired split systems. Electrical consists of lighting, fire alarm, data and communications and backup generator. The site work has curb and gutter and paving, site fence with operable gate, storm drainage, site water and sewer and lighting.
