Description:

The renovation of SBI Buildings 17 & 18 was a fast tracked emergency project with a 9 month schedule from start of demolition to project completion. The scope of work included demolition of interior finishes, windows, and site work, leaving only a brick shell; and then performing a full up-fit. New work included installing a parking lot, site utilities, two elevators, office space, and a 1500 square foot data center. The data center provides data processing services for the North Carolina law enforcement community, and has been equipped with state of the art building systems to maintain operations 24/7. These systems include under floor air distribution, uninterrupted power supply, multiple backup generators, and full telecommunication redundancy.
