The new fellowship hall and classroom building constructed by C.T. Wilson was connected to all three of the existing buildings. The three existing buildings were also renovated as part of the project. C.T. Wilson worked with the owner and architect to plan the phasing and connections to the existing building to limit the amount of disruption to the church operations.
The project was split into 3 phases to allow the church access to Sunday school classrooms, the church offices, and space for Sunday Services during the construction. There was also very little on site storage space for this project. C.T. Wilson planned material deliveries and off site storage to limit the amount of material that had to be stored at the site.
C.T. Wilson worked with the owner and architect during the preliminary design to make sure that the project design was in line with the project budget. During this phase a new entry addition at the front of the church was deleted in order to keep the project in budget. After the final drawings were completed and the final pricing was done the project was within the original budget. |
