Description:

The scope of this project was to remodel the academic building for code compliance and modernization. Exterior work included replacing all windows, replacing waterproofing and installing foundation drainage system on basement wall. The bathrooms were revised to meet code with new ceramic tile and ADA fixtures. Stair rails and door and hardware changes were also made for ADA compliance. A new elevator was installed in an existing hoist way. The complete HVAC system was replaced including AHU’s, duct work, VAV boxes and temperature control systems. The electrical system upgrades made include new panels, distribution system, lighting, fire alarm and AV systems. All new building finishes were installed including acoustical ceilings, paint and resilient flooring. The first “Smart Rooms” on campus were installed in this building. These classrooms consisted of integrated AV systems, window blinds and lighting systems.
